Houston’s
own Dr. Bernard Harris to present high-tech, high-energy program Dec. 14
WHAT: Houston’s

Bernard A. Harris, Jr., former NASA Astronaut and the first African

pursue careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM)
during the largest stop ever of the “Dream
Tour presented by ExxonMobil” at the Toyota Center.
Harris will
eclipse and surpass the total number of students reached by the 2008 Dream Tour
in this final stop of the 2009. He will entertain students with his adventures
in space while also motivating them to achieve their own goals. The show will
feature high-tech, high-energy performances from local professional athletes,
ExxonMobil “Rock Stars,” from Harris himself and maybe even out-of-this world
guest appearances.
WHEN: Monday, December 14, 2009
10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
WHERE: Toyota Center
1510
Polk Street
Houston, Texas

athletes and team mascots:
